jkilla71 Senior Member Join Date: Mar 2006 Location: Ft Lauderdale, Fl moving to Eastern PA in May of 2007 Posts: 326 iTrader: (0) Photo Gallery	Phantom Clunk in front end gone I thought I had a bad ball joint on my right front. I replaced everything on the front suspension already but I thought it must be the ball joint because from inside the car it sounded like the clunking was coming from the front tire. Turns out I had a bolt missing from my exhaust and the pipe was bumping against the car. There are 2 #7 bolts. The one in the center was missing the nut on the top and the exhaust would travel up and down over bumps masquerading as a suspension problem as it was hitting the car.
