I replaced everything on the front suspension already but I thought it must be the ball joint because from inside the car it sounded like the clunking was coming from the front tire. Turns out I had a bolt missing from my exhaust and the pipe was bumping against the car. There are 2 #7 bolts. The one in the center was missing the nut on the top and the exhaust would travel up and down over bumps masquerading as a suspension problem as it was hitting the car. __________________ 318ti, sport, hellrot, 05/95 Munich, Germany | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
