 The conditions on the 318ti
I know there are a few people that have asked me to keep everyone updated with the condition of my car so I figured I'd post something and tell what's all going on. So first off I took it to the shop, they replaced three hoses and a connector. (I know one of the hoses were back by the fire wall). The total then came out to be 300$, they said they tried to pour coolant into it and it all just came out so they said I need to replace my radiator now and if I were to let them do it, it would become 700$ total. I looked around and I found a radiator on Rockauto for 115$ and I figured I'd just put it in myself but I currently am jobless and looking for a job and don't have any money to get it out of the shop or buy the radiator. Only thing I'm worried about now is it obtaining a mechanical lean on the car because that's the last thing I need right now. Anyone know wither or not it would be the Radiator that needs replaced or could it be something else? |
