Reading and learning as much as possible. I have I believe a 2.93 LSD on my S52 TI just now, and run a 3.45 LSD with my other TI with a M44 now. Figure I can still be quick and responsive with an E28 3.46 or lower the ratio for the S52 and get better top end on an E28 3.25. Thoughts? Thanks! __________________ 1998 318ti Sport - "Cali" Schwartz II/Schwartz sport interior, Cali top 1998 318ti Sport - "Max" Schwartz II/Schwartz sport interior, S52 1997 318ti Sport - "Tiny" Schwartz II/Schwartz sport interior 1995 318ti Active - "Blanca" Alpineweib III/Schwartz leather interior Other Current Bimmers: 2006 530i / 2000 2.3L Z3 / 1997 1.9L Z3 / 1999 540it 1997 318ti Sport - "Huera" - RIP 1995 318ti Active - RIP 1995 318ti Sport - "Tiny" Sold 1994 325i Sedan - "Jade" - Sold 1991 318ic - "Bert" - Sold 1985 635csi sold 1984 533i "Max" Sold 1984 318i sold BMWCCA #160411 SUPPORT 318ti.org! I do have a modded M50 with a 4.10lsd. I can imagine for autox it would be alright but would run out of gearing on a track. I'm at 4K roughly at 70. | | | 12-11-2016, 10:04 PM | #5 | Senior Member Join Date: Nov 2013 Location: Bresse Track France Posts: 535 | 118Mph at 7200 rpm (M52B28) with (323) getrag 5 sp box and a S3.91 (40/25) all M3 are behind | | | 12-12-2016, 06:49 AM | #6 | Senior Member Join Date: Feb 2012 Location: Sacramento, CA Posts: 2,451 | Thanks all! I'll drop in a 3.25 LSD and see how that works for our local tracks. I'll assess what gets installed in next.
