Default New to the forum realm prepping for 318ti S52 Swap

Hi all, I bought a 1997 318ti with a bad M44 and have decided to swap the running gear from my T-boned 97 M3. Thought I would join the site and document my swap as it will be my first. Any credible advice is humbly accepted.

My advice would be to swap the sway bars over before doing the motor, turns out the sump wont fit with 4 cylinder bar. That's the only thing that caught me out on my M3 swap.

Jamez thank you for the heads up, I wasn't planning on changing out the front sway bar, but sounds like I have to

M44 and all the wiring out. next step, going to figure out the s52 wiring now. anyone know of a video tutorial on this step? i have been looking but nothing yet. I am the worst when it comes to wiring, more visual rather than reading diagrams or flow charts. have to get this setup so I can get the fire-breathing monster in. W.A.R. Chip ordered and on its way thanks to the guys at Miller Performance.
