Default Trim and side skirts

Hey all, mechanically, the ti is great again... Drives straight as an arrow as she always did before the accident.

So now I'm going to have the body fixed. I have to buy a rear quarter panel, according to my uncle who is working on the car. That's not a problem.

I also need rear quarter panel trim pieces. After the accident, the passenger side one (which wasn't damaged) decided it didn't like my car anymore and flew the coop on the freeway. I figured, instead of buying the same ones I had, I should upgrade and purchase the M Trim pieces for the front fenders, doors, and rear panels.

Anyone know where to find those?

Also, more importantly, my car is a 95, so it has the ugly grey side skirts. The driver's side one was also damaged mildly in the accident. Correct me if i'm wrong, but don't the later models of a ti have painted side skirts that are removeable??

Would there be any way i could install those on my car? Getting the bumpers painted to match would not be an issue.

Thanks.
-Jeff

Yes, you can put on the later style side skirts. The BMW dealer has all of those parts and the extra parts needed to mount it properly and make it look stock. Same thing for the side moldings.

You can also find companies that do OEM replicas and they will sometimes sell the mounting hardware seperately. Search on here for "twisties" for the side skirts. You should be able to look up part numbers on realoem.

You might as well get M3 front bumper and M-Tech rear bumper/diffuser.
Your car would look like the Sport/M-Tech model.
Junkyards will have the parts you're looking for, but dealers are the best bet.
carpartswholesale.com will also have them for a little less.

I will have a set for sale soon. They have two hole plugs where the mounting points are. I'm installing twisties this Spring.

I'm definitely interested, especially since you live just about an hour away from me.

Out of curiosity, how would I get them onto my '95 ti? like I said, I have the grey rockers. Do they just drill in or do I have to hack off the old crap?

Not sure, I'd have to look. If you can wait till April/May, I will have mine swapped.
