Default M3 front, rear bumper conversion

new here, did a quick search that didnt really answer my question so i'll post it here:

Can E36 M3 front and rear bumpers be swapped straight in place of the stock ti ones? Is it a straight bolt-on?

Also, I'm looking at buying a 97 318ti and it looks to have the Mtech exterior package, but is this model for this year supposed to come with a 5-speed manual?

The Mtech exterior can be ordered with an automatic. It's just an option.

+2 Front bumper is a direct bolt on but not the rear bumper. You can get Reiger bumpers or front lips for the 318ti compact as another alternative.
