Default Need help test driving a Ti...

Looking at buying a 1999 Ti close to Syracuse, NY (actual city is Utica, NY), is there someone here who can stop by the dealership that's selling the car and test drive it for me and check for the usual wear and tear items that are associated with the Ti's and check back with me so I can make a deal with the seller.

I would gladly appreciate any help and that person's personal time.

Thank you.

PS - I will throw in a few dollars (say $15) for your time and gas.

Be careful with some dealers. In 2005 I was working in Syracuse and my gf at the time was looking to buy a car. I found one online at a dealership about 1.5 hours away. I called them say around 9am to ask if they still had it, verify the info I saw online. I rented a car, drove there (w/ my gf - it was a Hyundai dealership [I think it was a 2003 accord that we were going to see]). I get there and they don't have the damn car. Not only don't they have it, apparently it was somehow involved in an accident a few weeks prior to me calling them that morning. No surprises that they couldn't locate the person I'd spoken to earlier at 9am. Suffice to say, I was not happy. The idiots tried to sell us something else on their lot too. . . they must have been really hard up to try and make a sale given how obviously pissed I was.

Thanks for the advice. I'll definitely keep that in mind.
