Default Emissions Question

Ok so I live in Florida and I was wondering if anyone has ever removed the secondary air pump and basically all the emissions control that it entails. I know this is not rocket science, I can remove the air pump, brackets and hoses easily enough. My issue lies with the shut-off valve and the pipe that runs along the back side of it. I still want to keep my car relatively quiet and not have that glug-glug-glug sound from having the shut off valve open. I plan to leave my cats in the car, I just want to unclutter my engine bay as much as possible. Relocating my batter to the trunk area is in the near future.

This was inspired from seeing my friends E30 325i. He had his engine bay real clean and almost totally empty lol it looked really nice.

It looked somewhat like this... only the colors were different lol

Anywho, I want to do a wire pull on the car if thats even possible. It just looks so messy under the hood.

So to sum up everything:
1. How to remove the entire emissions control system except cats?

I'm building up the AP Simulator tho I wish xxxJohnBoyxxx woulda included a wiring diagram since those are easier to read, at least for me :P

2. Anyone have any tips or pointers on doing a wire pull on these cars? I've cruise control and traction control so I already have more than enough clutter under the hood. I wish there was a way to just hide everything! except the engine itself... maybe I can fab up some plastic covers... hmmm...

No one out there can help?
Thanks
