Default Fuel pump lock ring tool near Nor Cal?

Pretty sure I have a leak around the seal for the lock ring for my fuel pump (or maybe the other white side) or both... anywho, i dont want to use the screw driver and hammer method. Does anyone have a lock ring tool in the bay area OR a good alternative method

Have you had an issue with the "hammer and screwdriver" method? It has always worked for me...

i was hoping to avoid mangling the lock ring itself. Looks like the previous person did that and its probably why I need to replace the seal now.

I hear you -- these lock rings come right off with a few light taps of the hammer. No idea exactly how your car's previous owner would mangle it without being totally stupid about it. These rings only turn a few degrees before locking. By the way, a new lock ring is about $10
