I took a bimmer group there. A zhp and a m3. I've raced a e36 325i, and a m3 there. I couldn't shake the m3, but I lost the 325i for a few seconds. Both were surprised at how well the 318ti handled. And this was before my suspension/new tires. In the vid, I wasn't pushing on the straights. I was more interested in testing out the suspension. So that's why I only speeded on the corners and hell pins. And yea I agree, I wish I had a manual trans. I'm gonna fix that right up within the next few weeks. I'm searching for a e30 manual as a racer. I'm gonna gut it. __________________ Come get a ti-shirt Quote: From the e30 M3, evolved the e36. Never heard of a BMW, Porsche (Except for the Carrera GT that the owner almost spun off the cliff warming up his tires), Lambo's or Ferraris... Audi's rarely ventured out for runs... Although Lambo owners rarely ventured into the canyons and Ferrari owners only went fast on the strait sections and then slowed to a crawl on the twisties!... And of course there were those on cars not meant for the runs with freaking R compound tires all up in your A-S-S!... it's nice to have such grip through all those turns... while everyone elses tires are screaming "I'm about to loose it!"... those are saying come on give me more!... __________________ 2LT Rodriguez CA ARNG TURBO 96' Sport, Alaska Blue, Auto Custom JohnBoy Turbo, Midnight-Tunning Software, HKS BOV, e-Pod Gauge Pod, BavAuto Springs, Bilstein Sport, e30 3.73 LSD, Depo P36, Apexcone 55w HID, OEM Spoiler, M3 Lip, M3 Mesh Grill, Crossdrilled Rear Rotors, M3 Front Brakes, Sparco 3 point Harness, Euro M3 Wheel, K&N cone, Clear Corner/Sides/Tails, M3 Center Console & Arm-rest, M3 Red Cluster Needles, M3 Mirrors & Side Skirts, RD Exhaust, DS-1 wheels!... | | | 04-01-2009, 03:12 AM | #8 | Senior Member Join Date: Apr 2008 Location: Austin Posts: 3,059 | Yeah man! I know what you mean! Ever since I got my new wheels and tires, I could not make my tires screech, no matter how sharply I went on the turns. I can't even do donuts any more. On top of that, drifting is no longer possible. And power sliding requires more speed to make it look complete. Gotta love stiff handling! __________________ Come get a ti-shirt Quote: From the e30 M3, evolved the e36.
