Default ::GB INTEREST FOR BOLT IN ROLL BAR FOR 318TI DIRECT FIT NO WELDING::

Hey Guys,

We work very closely with Autopower industries and they are very well know in the racing industry for the work and craftsmanship they have for cages and bars. Since we do have a test vehicle we are now able to design an exclusive bolt in bar for the car if there is enough interest!

For now I think we will only go ahead and make the 4 point bolt in bar that will look like the attached photo!

Price should be somewhere around $650+S&H.

If you are interested please add your name to the list:

Would the down bars unbolt? Would the center seat bracing be fixed?

It will be a bolt in bar and the bracing can be made to be removable but will cost more.

In the picture it looks like the down bars bolt to the main hoop... Can you clarify?

What tubing is it made from? Does it come with mounting hardware?

Yes the rear 2 bars are bolt on to the main front hoop.

The Race roll bar is designed for solo, autocross and high speed time trials. All Race roll bars have a diagonal cross brace and most have a harness mount tube.

Race roll bars are made with 1.750 x .120 DOM steel.
Cars weighing more than 3500 lbs. use 2" x 120 ERW steel.
4 point mounting with welded diagonal crossbrace.
All necessary installation and mounting hardware with back-up plates is included.

No because then you will not be able to install it then it will be a weld in application ONLY.

Thanks,

I'm interested pending:

1) Photos of installed finished product.
2) Seeing 'site supporter' status under EuroStopUSA's name.

Thanks,

Nice! I am most interested to see the location and size of the plates. I do have some concerns as poorly mounted bars have gone through floors in a roll-over situation.

I am thinking of having the rear "DOWN BARS" somehow bolt to the rear towers with a reinforcement bar to fully reinforce the rear suspension as well Discussing ideas with Autopower to make the most functional Bar!

Will have updates when the car is dropped off at the R&D warehouse...
