Default 1st BMW

Hi all,

Have just joined the site and have just picked up my very first bmw, I finally went for a 95 318ti sport Compact with 88k Miles on the clock,

However have a few questions though!

1) what size wheels can i fit on it, i really want to get a set of 18 inch BMW replica ones that are on ebay at the mo for £500, pretty much the only outside mod i want just to make it a bit more modern,

2) Any sites that are specific to find part/performance parts for the compacts, have bee perusing the web for a while now and cant seem to find anything, might just be me though! woudl really liek a dress kit for the engine and maybe new interior parts,

3) any things that i should look for? having never owned a BMW i have no idea of there quirks!

4) anyone done any subtle mods to there compacts? just want something tastefull and not overly garish or chav!

Thanks! hopefully i will love the car as much as i think i will do, it took ages for me to fall asleep last night due to thinking about the car!

BT

just keep it clean my man. 18's will fit just fine, if you get the right size tyres and offset. start searching this site, you'll find loads of tasteful mods most being performance orientated. 2 rules, dont buy anything from ebay stores and get the suspension right 1st time!
