I have been lurking for a while and discovered that I can't find the answer to my question. I recently bought a '95 ti and the instrument cluster is fried. Only the tach works. I took it out and tested it to discover that the gauges themselves are good but the circuit board is not. Instead of replacing it with a stock cluster I am going to mount some aftermarket ones in a custom bracket where the stock cluster is now. My problem: The fuel gauge. This is the one I'm going to use. Now the issue. I don't know what ohm rating I need to use. Any advice/comments is welcome. Thanks. Last edited by roadrash; 08-20-2009 at 10:24 PM. I can even sell you mine if you're interested. | | | 08-20-2009, 10:53 PM | #3 | NOBODY F's with the Jesus Join Date: Oct 2006 Location: Ventura California Posts: 7,824 | What year is your Ti? I have an OBDII cluster that I converted to blue gauges. It's pretty freakin sweet. Looks completely stock during the day with chrome rings around the gauges, but at night, awww man it's badass! LMK if you're interested. | | | 08-20-2009, 10:55 PM | #4 | Senior Member Join Date: Feb 2007 Location: Avondale, Az Posts: 203 | ^ pics please Jess! | | | 08-20-2009, 11:02 PM | #5 | NOBODY F's with the Jesus Join Date: Oct 2006 Location: Ventura California Posts: 7,824 | Quote: Originally Posted by KINGAMR ^ pics please Jess! | I couldn't get my camera to capture the color correctly. The whole thing is that color but my camera couldn't capture it. | | | 08-20-2009, 11:07 PM | #6 | Senior Member Join Date: Feb 2007 Location: Avondale, Az Posts: 203 | Man that looks sweet! randomperson3, u should grab it from Jess, he's an awesome dude to buy from. | | | 08-20-2009, 11:40 PM | #7 | Junior Member Join Date: Aug 2009 Location: Jellico, TN Posts: 11 | Quote: Originally Posted by cooljess76 What year is your Ti? | My ti is a 1995 so no OBDII for me. | | | 08-20-2009, 11:42 PM | #8 | Junior Member Join Date: Aug 2009 Location: Jellico, TN Posts: 11 | Quote: Originally Posted by KINGAMR Are you doing to save money instead of buying an oem one or just because you want to?? | Just thought as long as I was replacing I may as well upgrade, but if I saw an OEM one for the right price I'd probably get it instead to save money/work. | | | 08-21-2009, 12:20 AM | #9 | NOBODY F's with the Jesus Join Date: Oct 2006 Location: Ventura California Posts: 7,824 | Quote: Originally Posted by randomperson3 My ti is a 1995 so no OBDII for me. | Oh well, here it is if anyone else is interested: http://www.318ti.org/forum/showthread.php?t=27831 | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
