Default WHeel color Opinion PLease!?

ok so i recently bought my "ti im just trying to make it better haha but any ways i have a buddy who can powder coat and he said he would do my rims

my question is is it even a good idea to powder coat in the first place...what are the downfalls to it

second im looking to for a little color in them nothing gaudy that slams in yur face but something just to accent it ... please give me you opinion on what u think may work

although the pics do make the rims look pretty good they are curbed and peeling so thats why i want them redone

What are your color options for powder coating? I suppose you could also get them painted. (I don't know what the pro's/con's of powdercoating/painting are sorry)

Just make sure whatever color you do go with, that it compliments that good looking automobile you've got.

IMHO I think your car clean and should remain that way. Maybe polish your wheels and get some clear tail lights. Oh, why is the back so high?

i would go with a similar color, or some silver.

powder coating wheels is completely fine. powder is 10 times thicker than paint and will last much longer.

i used to powder coat and my friends shop is a powder coating shop/metal fab.

just make sure to get your wheels sand blasted before hand and have all the balancing weights taken off.

once they are coated you will of course need to get your wheels balanced.

also the color you do depends on the powder your friend has. a small box of powder is not cheap so i would recommend using a color he already has.

also with powder coating you can play around with clear coats or "after coatings" to make some really neat effects.

either way post some pictures

a pound should do all 4 but just to be safe and nice if you buy the powder get some extra for your buddy to have.

Gunmetal is the only way Id go. Its a subtle change that will look good with your paint color and isnt too out there. Now that you've found your ti, wanna sell it? Thats the exact combination Ive been looking for and yours looks great!

Yeah a gunmetal/black chrome/anthracite would look good on those. Kind of like the M wheels.
