time to say goodbye to the ti? ok, heres what i am dealing with. i love my ti, and i mean that. i have always had cars that i "liked" but i LOVE my ti. it gets decent gas milage, and is a blast to drive. plus its a hatchback, a rwd hatchback. and its easy to work on. the thing is, it leaves a lot to be desired. i have put a lot of time, money and effort into my ti, but should i continue to do so? i have replaced all the bushings, complete suspension overhaul, lowered, complete red mill point m-tech interior and installed z3m brakes front and rear, and a 3.73 lsd. the main reasons i am thinking about parting with my beloved ti are: ac doesn't work (and hasn't since i bought it) no cruise control (my ti is what me and my girlfriend take on road trips) and like many others have said, the lack of POWA! in order for me to keep it, i will either have to turbo or swap, fix ac, and retrofit cruise control. none of which i feel comfortable doing myself, or atleast not without help from someone who knows what they are doing. i estimate all this will all cost another $4000-6000. so here i sit looking at auto trader for a new ride trying to decide what to do...... sincerely, john __________________ Quote: Originally Posted by bubela I’m happy in my blissful ignorant euphoria!
