Default FS: Star Spoke 55's in chrome

First, if you're a chrome hater, please keep it to yourself. mmmKay?

With that being said, this is the info on the wheels:

Set of 4 BMW Star Spoke 55's (in chrome)
  • These wheels were originally for the E46, but also fit E36's. This is the entry at realoem.com
  • Center caps, chrome valve stem caps and chrome lug bolts will be included. The sticker on one of the center caps isn't in perfect condition, but the cap itself seems fine.
  • I seem to remember spotting one small blemish, but it's not rust. I looked just now and couldn't find it, so I'll try to get a photo of that once it dries up enough here to justify washing the car.
  • 16" diameter... 7JX16 ET:46

Photos.........
  • Photo 1 - Yes, the fender gills have been removed. I'll include them free with the wheels if you want them.
  • Photo 2 - As far as I know, they're not "///M" wheels, but the stickers are still there. Apparently the previous owner had an "///M fetish." And as we all know, stickers add horsepower, or in this case, they lower rotating mass. LOL
  • Photo 3
  • Photo 4 - No, that's not me in the photo.

I'm in Nashville, TN, and I'd prefer to sell them locally, or "nearby." I do have wheel boxes to ship them in, and the shipping should cost around $100 at most. That estimate is based on the fact that the replacement wheels (Star Spoke 43's! Yay!) were shipped to me from CA at that price. I'm willing to drive a few hours to meet the buyer just to save us the hassle and risk of shipping them.

Initial asking price is for:
  • wheels (4)
  • chrome bolts (20)
  • chrome valve stem caps (4)
  • center caps (4)
  • ///M stickers (4)
  • 8oz. bottle of Meguiar's "Hot Rims chrome polish":
WAS - $500

WAS - $400

WAS - $300

... make me an offer if you're interested.

(does not include tires or shipping)

Thanks for reading, and let me know if I've left out any info, or if you have questions/offers!

That's odd.

I'll move them to Photobucket later tonight if necessary. Is anyone else having this problem?

Just to clarify there is NO hating here. Just some mild humor. Good luck with the sale.

Default Bump :-)

Women seem to like these wheels more than men. I guess it's that female preoccupation with shiny things. So, one of you guys needs to buy these wheels for the female BMW-driver in your life.

Cool... Honestly, I "like" them too... I just don't "love" them, if that makes any sense. I "really, really like" the wheels that are going to replace them.

BTW... as mentioned in another thread, these wheels should be off the car by the end of this week.

These wheels are now off the car. I hope to clean them up a little some time this week, and maybe even post more photos.
