I've seen e36 M3 wheels on ti's before, but I was wondering if newer BMW wheels fit too. For example - would e46 wheels fit? Would 5/7 series wheels fit with spacers? I'd appreciate any info about the wheels. | | | 05-26-2006, 12:22 AM | #2 | Senior Member Join Date: Apr 2006 Location: Potomac, Maryland Posts: 230 | Quote: Originally Posted by wasabinuki I've seen e36 M3 wheels on ti's before, but I was wondering if newer BMW wheels fit too. TIA | Is the car lowered? Probably not if it is lowered, but nothing to really worrie about. All e36 and e46 wheels fit and maybe e90, but the 5 and 7 series will not. | | | 06-09-2006, 08:36 AM | #5 | Senior Member Join Date: Oct 2005 Location: Watford, herts, England Posts: 805 | i'm running e46 Evo II's in 18x8.5 with a 47mm offset. and there is no rubbage. __________________ '96 318ti in Montreal Blue :m-tec sideskirts,m-bootspoiler,clear corners & repeaters .m-tech side mouldings, Magnex Exhaust System, leather armrest, F-15 gear Knob, 18" Evo 2's. Is there somewhere on here we can park that? It's from one of the guys on the Yahoo group and it's awesome. | | | 06-09-2006, 09:45 PM | #12 | Senior Member Join Date: Nov 2004 Location: Lincoln Park Capitol Hill, Washington DC Posts: 741 | Also......all 3 Series (E36-E46) wheels will work on Tis, since most of them have 35 and up offsets. Don't bother with 5 or 7 series; they have lower offsets and will have brake caliper clearing problems............and.......perhaps not quite hub centric. BELIEVE ME.......I've tried it....
