It's still not perfectly smooth though, but at least it's not stuck down anymore. Might need a new regulator eventually. Got some help with fixing it from my awesome landlord (who has experience from his VW windows lol), and I of course need to thank wolferj too for teaching me a while back how to do all this to begin with __________________ 1997 318ti 5-speed Moreagrün 1996 318ti auto Hellrot (retired) | | | 09-16-2013, 05:12 PM | #3095 | Junior Member Join Date: Jun 2013 Location: Ft Gibson OK Posts: 15 | Removed the fading grey from my rockers with some degreaser. My seats are manual and these are power. There are two large gauge wires in the mess of wires coming from the seat harness, brown is ground and orange is power! That powers everything I need to mess with, seat switch is on the seat so just need to run a power and ground to both sides and I'll be good. Will be like me, no memory. But it's still missing a 318ti.org sticker on the window, wondering if I can still put it on since I just did the tint. | | | 09-22-2013, 03:12 AM | #3100 | Member Join Date: Mar 2011 Location: greenville south carolina Posts: 35 | Yeah I'm missing one as well but you should have no issue with that, tint is on the inside sticker is on the outside. ~1997 mustang cobra ~1997 BMW M3 sedan -1996 BMW 318ti California roof -2005 pontiac vibe | | | 09-22-2013, 03:30 AM | #3101 | Senior Member Join Date: Apr 2013 Location: Massapequa New York Posts: 113 | Quote: Originally Posted by blue318ticali Yeah I'm missing one as well but you should have no issue with that, tint is on the inside sticker is on the outside. ~1997 mustang cobra ~1997 BMW M3 sedan -1996 BMW 318ti California roof -2005 pontiac vibe | Cool wasn't sure if it stuck on the inside or the outside. | | | 09-22-2013, 04:24 AM | #3102 | Senior Member Join Date: Jul 2007 Location: norcal - 94590 Posts: 3,186 | Took Roddy on a little road trip to meet another member (Hey Strawman!), see his swap in progress, and pick up some extra parts from him. Really nice to get out and let Roddy "stretch his legs" driving down Hwy 101. Going to take Roddy up to Thunderhill Raceway this weekend so it felt really good to strap in and go for a spin to make sure everything feels solid... __________________ James 95 active w/leather interior and sport interior conversion, Vaders, full M-Tech exterior conversion. Now to start to repin it and make it for a 1995 Stick, but keeping the wiring in for the Auto. | | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
