There are a lot of nice parts on the car. It has 55,xxx miles. No sunroof. Tan interior. The passenger door panel was removed and in the back. It looks to have had a corner cracked (totally repairable tho). The drivers side was in place and intact (great shape). Anyway, I can go back for parts if needed. What do you need? Outside temp sensor? what color is the car? __________________ EURO FRESH | | | 08-09-2014, 10:49 PM | #5 | Senior Member Join Date: Jul 2007 Location: SW Florida Posts: 4,275 | Battery box was gone. I can look for the temp sensor next time I'm out there. The car is black. But, very badly sun damaged. The paint on top of the car is shot (including hatch, hood, fenders, bumpers, mirrors and doors) __________________ Sean 1995 Active | | | 08-11-2014, 03:31 AM | #6 | Junior Member Join Date: Jul 2014 Location: USA Posts: 19 | Hi, thanks for doing this! I recently got a 96 that needs one thing specifically and a 95 that needs a few things. I need the entire center console including the radio surround and the climate controls. Someone totally mauled the one on the 95 I got at some point when they installed the radio. Also, need the ashtray and cigarette lighter assembly. Whatever "audio installer" had at this car was a total hack. Also, what color is the car? Someone attempted to break into the 96 I got at some point and bent up the pillar part of the door. Given the dents are from prying at the hard edges, it's hard to do PDR work on these, so it may be more economical to just replace the entire door. Let me know if you can get these, and what you want for them. There are a half dozen Pick-A-Parts around me with good BMW stock, but even then it's not often I run into a ti in the yards. If anyone needs any parts that are cross-compatible with other E36s, E30s and Roadsters/Coupes let me know. Thanks! | | | 08-11-2014, 11:13 AM | #7 | Senior Member Join Date: Jul 2007 Location: SW Florida Posts: 4,275 | The doors are in great shape. Sun faded paint is the only issue. It might cost a pretty penny to ship them. Where are you located? PM me details and we can go from there. I'll grab the other parts you requested. __________________ Sean 1995 Active | | | 08-11-2014, 04:21 PM | #8 | Junior Member Join Date: Jul 2014 Location: USA Posts: 19 | 20853, but turns out moot on the door. I just read that the car is Black, and I need Boston Green, so probably not worth the shipping cost. Sorry I didn't read that earlier. If you haven't gone to pick up the other parts yet, can you please add: Switch blanking plate. The ones on the black dash strip on the left side of the steering wheel. PO had an old XM sat radio controller there and put a hole in one of the blanking plates. Fog light blanking plates. Many thanks! You'll be stoked to know that they are all in minty fresh shape. I'll PM you details. __________________ Sean 1995 Active | | | 08-11-2014, 08:32 PM | #10 | Junior Member Join Date: Jul 2014 Location: USA Posts: 19 | Awesome, thank you! I don't know if I have enough posts on the board yet to do PM, but please try. If it doesn't work, then we can figure out some other means of getting PM info to each other. Cheers and thanks again! | | | 08-11-2014, 08:41 PM | #11 | Senior Member Join Date: Jul 2007 Location: SW Florida Posts: 4,275 | PM sent My pleasure. __________________ Sean 1995 Active | | | 08-11-2014, 09:10 PM | #12 | Senior Member Join Date: Jul 2007 Location: SW Florida Posts: 4,275 | __________________ Sean 1995 Active | | | 08-11-2014, 09:12 PM | #13 | Senior Member Join Date: Jul 2007 Location: SW Florida Posts: 4,275 | __________________ Sean 1995 Active | | | 08-11-2014, 09:16 PM | #14 | Senior Member Join Date: Jul 2007 Location: SW Florida Posts: 4,275 | The ashtray looked normal and functioned fine with the cracked screw housing. The lighter is obviously rigged. That's all that I found to be wrong. All tabs and such are intact and function as intended. __________________ Sean 1995 Active | | | 08-12-2014, 03:08 AM | #15 | Junior Member Join Date: Jul 2014 Location: USA Posts: 19 | Thanks again Sean!
