Another thing im kinda wondering, is how will it look if i did get 6000k when my projectors are purple (see attach). Maybe itll look like crazy color on the floor. So yea, im wondering how it would look with reflection of purple projectors. | | | 05-14-2006, 02:42 AM | #2 | Senior Member Join Date: Nov 2005 Location: Toronto Posts: 167 | Heres a picture of my HID lights with 6000K. In person it is a lot more blue-purple out of the corners of the projectors when you are passing someone. Its hard to explain but its amazing. | | | 05-14-2006, 03:42 AM | #3 | Senior Member Join Date: Mar 2004 Location: Tracy, California Posts: 473 | My HIDs Mine with 6K HID headlights and matching 6k HID fog lights. __________________ 1989 E30 325is 5s Coupe Zinnoberrot 1991 E30 325i Auto Coupe Schwartz 1991 E30 325is 5s Coupe Hellrot 1995 318ti E36 Alpine White III DASC (RIP) 1996 328i 4Dr Artic Silver (RIP) 1999 M3 Estoril Blue Metallic RMS Vortech SC 2001 325i E46 Alpine White - Sports Package (SOLD) 2005 E46 M3 Coupe SMG | | | 05-14-2006, 04:14 AM | #4 | Senior Member Join Date: Nov 2005 Location: çî†ÿ øf åNgëL§, CA Posts: 5,314 | you guys have any from inside looking out, or just hitting the ground (night time). You will have to play with them until you get them perfectly aligned. After that, you will not go back to drive with conventional lighting. __________________ 1989 E30 325is 5s Coupe Zinnoberrot 1991 E30 325i Auto Coupe Schwartz 1991 E30 325is 5s Coupe Hellrot 1995 318ti E36 Alpine White III DASC (RIP) 1996 328i 4Dr Artic Silver (RIP) 1999 M3 Estoril Blue Metallic RMS Vortech SC 2001 325i E46 Alpine White - Sports Package (SOLD) 2005 E46 M3 Coupe SMG | | | 05-15-2006, 04:33 AM | #12 | Senior Member Join Date: Jan 2005 Location: Vancouver, B.C. But being that i need to use H3, it would have been extra 40 dollars with the 279. It was gonna total up to 355 but autowerks gave me extra 20 dollars off (from that extra 40) so im payed 330 for xtec 6000k. But if i didnt have to pay for having H3 bulbs, i woulda have payed like 300 flat. Rip off or good price guys? | | | 05-15-2006, 05:29 PM | #14 | doesn't care about you. You will probably get better support after the sale if you buy from chris at understeer.com. __________________ '99 Dinan M3 | | | 05-15-2006, 05:32 PM | #15 | Senior Member Join Date: Nov 2005 Location: çî†ÿ øf åNgëL§, CA Posts: 5,314 | Quote: Originally Posted by DustenT Are they plug and play?
