I bought one from this guy and put it in my E30. Very nice. It looks just like the B&M racing version. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/RACIN...QQcmdZViewItem | | | 02-18-2007, 08:00 AM | #3 | Senior Member Join Date: Dec 2006 Location: G-dale, California Posts: 1,698 | Quote: Originally Posted by bullmand | will this fit on a 95 TI tho?? __________________ Live Everyday As If Its Your Last A friend is someone who is willing to step into a flame to save you........aka a 318ti | | | 02-18-2007, 02:00 PM | #4 | Senior Member Join Date: Nov 2006 Location: Land of the Vikings Posts: 2,700 | pretty much all OE shifters are interchangeable i know that all e30 all e36 all Z3 + ///M all Z4 + ///M will fit on a compact i think an e34 ///M would too but im not sure __________________ Vin Number decode and Retrofit Pdfs Available Free ! I've replaced the shifter on the ti and the E30 several times without removing anything. The little clips that go on the end of the rod that goes through the bottom of the shifter can be a little tricky, but it's not that hard. | | | 02-18-2007, 09:52 PM | #8 | Senior Member Join Date: Dec 2006 Location: G-dale, California Posts: 1,698 | Quote: Originally Posted by Mallard pretty much all OE shifters are interchangeable i know that all e30 all e36 all Z3 + ///M all Z4 + ///M will fit on a compact i think an e34 ///M would too but im not sure | mallard thanks for the info but whats the best bang for my buck cuz ive heard the Z3 one is great and hassle free but which is the best for the time and money?? __________________ Live Everyday As If Its Your Last A friend is someone who is willing to step into a flame to save you........aka a 318ti | | | 02-18-2007, 11:39 PM | #9 | Senior Member Join Date: Nov 2006 Location: Pittsburgh, PA Posts: 1,224 | pelican parts has this page on installing short shifters for cheaper than custom kits by using parts off other bmws. If I understand the pictures correctly, what this thing does is simply bolt an extension to the bottom of your shift rod. Is that right? If so, I wouldn't want to be driving when the bolt loosens up (and it will). You won't be able to grab any gear.
