I have had both the M3 convertible and the M3 Coupe with the "Vaders". The Convertible has the "luxury package" seats. The Vaders are the most unconfortable seats I have ever had. Couldn't stand more than 1/2 hour in them before my llower back started hurting... Bad. The seats in the Convertible are much more comfortable and I am thinking about pulling the seats out of the Ti and putting something, anything else in it place, cause the Ti's seats are a close second to the Vaders in lack of comfort. Like the look of the Ti seats, but the seat bolsters are too tight and there is some kind of metal bar that presses in to me. For my purposes the seats in the Z3 Coupe are some of the best. The Z4 Coupe seats are even better. My .02 cents worth. | | | 08-24-2006, 09:33 AM | #17 | Senior Member Join Date: Feb 2004 Location: Port St. Johns, Florida Posts: 2,242 | Mill-point sports or Z3M seats. | | | 01-09-2007, 12:19 PM | #18 | Senior Member Join Date: Mar 2006 Location: Ft Lauderdale, Fl moving to Eastern PA in May of 2007 Posts: 326 | Stay with stock seats but if they are in bad shape have them reupholstered. __________________ 318ti, sport, hellrot, 05/95 Munich, Germany | | | 01-09-2007, 01:21 PM | #19 | Senior Member Join Date: Apr 2005 Location: Great White North! I love power sport seats and picked up a pair out of an M3 convertible. I haven't installed them yet, but running pwr is no problem. All the controls are in the seat, so all you need is a hot wire and a ground. Manual seats are a pain in the A$$ because you have to jerk your body around to adjust them, especially if you are raising them up. With pwr you just move the buttons until it feels right. If I decide not to install mine, I'll drop you a line. They're black. DISCLAIMER: I've never ridden in Vaders. | | | 04-17-2007, 03:48 AM | #22 | Senior Member Join Date: Apr 2007 Location: Santa Maria, CA Posts: 277 | what type of isuzu were you driving? the ones ive seen have been mostly been buckets. | | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
