Default Help me plz.. Stormung or Supersprint

I am ordering my exhaust Monday next week.
I am still not sure which one to get tho. I read on the forum that Stormung is much louder then Supersprint, some even say supersprint can be compared to a stock exhaust (considering the loudness).

Now, the CAT on my 318i will be removed before putting the exhaust. If the stormung is really that loud with the cat on the system, then how is it gonna be without the CAT. I am afraid that Stormung without a CAT on the system will be way too loud, and ****ty. It has to be alot louder?
I watched the clips on www.understeer.com, so I have some idea how stormung sounds and its loudness. But i have no idea what Supersprint sounds like and its loudness compared to Stormung. I would love to see a Supersprint clip, or something. If you guys have one plz post it. Or reply, give me some advice...

I want a nice sound, but not too loud.

Please help me on this one, , cuz i dont know what to do

PS: i have been thinking all day about this, which one to get, my ****ing head hurts lol

supersprint is NOT as quiet as stock. it's a deeper tone, but it's also louder. i'm still breaking mine in. at highway speed, there is some drone currently. we'll see if that goes away after awhile. of course, i still have my cat. i can't imagine a much louder exhaust, especially on a long trip, it would drive me insane ...

supersprint is very quiet, i was in a 318 is wiht intake, chip, supsprint in it and it was as loud as my car, which only has intake. so supersprint can be compared to stock.

on the other hand i was in a 325 is wiht stromung and its alot deeper, for me i really liked the sound of stromung. and the dude that was driving the 325 didnt really like the stromung cuz it becomes kinda loud and annoying after like 70-80 mph. he said it had a drouning sound kinda. for me it doesnt matter much, i listen to music loud enough sometimes i dont even hear my engine. it just depends on what u want. u want a alittle deeper sound i say go wiht supersprint.

if u want that v8 engine super loud then go wiht stromung.
hope i helped out

I say go with SUPERSPRINT! ABSOLUTELY does not sound like OE. I've heard them on Bimers from an E30 318is to an E39 M5 and they all sound great. Build quality is excellent and so is ease of installation. No buzzy sound no droning at highway speeds.

Cheers,

Thank you guys for the support. I am gonna go with Supersprint. I have decided, finally! Really all I want is just a little bit of a sporty sound, thats all.

Now, where do I get a cheap Supersprint exhaust for my BMW 318i?

I have removed my CAT. and replaced it with the Supersprint Racing Resonator and Cat-back.

The sound is louder than stock and is a deeper tone. I love my Supersprint and I am going to sell my cat-back and get a new Supersprint 100% stainless steel dual tip style.

Hope you like it.

What does the Supersprint Racing Resonator do?

What if I replace the cat just with a piece of a straight pipe? btw, where did you guys get your supersprints? I am looking for a one tip round, or rectangular for my 1995 BMW 318i, not a ti. But all if am finding are dual tips.
