The quality sucks. Often one model is slightly different than another. They are just banging out crap to sell to Walmart. I'm waiting for Walmart to start selling cars. __________________ ...steven BMW CCA #146825 1996 BMW 328ti • 2003 MINI Cooper S • 2016 M235i www.bmwcca.org | | | 10-29-2006, 10:35 PM | #4 | Senior Member Join Date: Dec 2005 Location: Minnesota Posts: 227 | Well I think Sam's Club does or you can get discounts through them at specific dealers...........My god I was reading some the posts on that forum it sounds like they just take ideas from a bunch of different cars and put all in the one. Their F3 car looks like a honda city, has the doors and dash board of a toyota corolla, mitsubishi engine........my god it sounds like a lego car. __________________ 1998 M-tech 325ti; Hellrot: M50 Swap, Cold-Air Intake, Custom Magna-Flow Exhaust, Depo Housings w/55 Watt HID, Yellow Fogs,Tinted Windows (35%), M3 Front Spoiler Lip, Black Grills, X-Brace, 17" Drag DR-19 wrapped with Hankook VR-12s, Bilstein HD with M-Tec Springs | | | 10-30-2006, 12:45 AM | #5 | That's not Millpoint Blue Join Date: Apr 2005 Location: BNA Posts: 3,161 | Quote: Originally Posted by mphmotorwerks it sounds like they just take ideas from a bunch of different cars and put all in the one. Did you notice the logo that is a BLATANT rip-off of the BMW roundel?? It's a circle with the top half in blue and the bottom half in white. I hope there are some German trademark lawyers aware of this. __________________ Real men know how to SEARCH! Do they not realize this makes them look absofreking rediculous? I sense this is only available in China and surrounding emerging countries. __________________ My Former Rides 1999 318ti Alpine White, Cali Roof, Dinan goodies 1996 318ti Hellrot California Edition | | | 10-30-2006, 08:15 PM | #11 | Member Join Date: Jul 2006 Location: New Jersey Posts: 65 | Your kidding, just take a look at the bimmer copies - Lincoln LS, Mitsubishi Diamonte, ect... Modern day marketing prides itself on riding on the coattails of the successful, trendy look alikes are big money, its not about quality or what it took to develope something, its how it will sell to the present trend. These cars would sell in the U.S; definately! | | | 10-31-2006, 06:37 AM | #12 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2003 Location: Saint Paul, MN Posts: 3,244 | All those marques established themselves in some way before being inspired by BMW styling. This marque IS knocking off BMW itself- the logo, colors, etc. The styling I see little more resemblence to bimmers than say a Kia or Toyota but the logo treatment is too much. That's also what makes me think they're only sold in China where trademarks are more useful for wiping your butt. __________________ My Former Rides 1999 318ti Alpine White, Cali Roof, Dinan goodies 1996 318ti Hellrot California Edition | | | 10-31-2006, 06:59 AM | #13 | Senior Member Join Date: Nov 2005 Location: çî†ÿ øf åNgëL§, CA Posts: 5,314 | Quote: Originally Posted by 1996 328ti I'm waiting for Walmart to start selling cars. | lol, im waiting for Costco to sell cars.
