I'm trying to find a part for my car but i'm not sure what it's called and don't know where to get it from.. It's the cover that goes under your car and protects the oil drain plug and etc. Can someone please tell me where I can get it from? | | | 03-25-2008, 03:52 AM | #2 | That's not Millpoint Blue Join Date: Apr 2005 Location: BNA Posts: 3,161 | __________________ Real men know how to SEARCH! Got any pictures of what you're talking about? I know the x-brace kind of acts as a skid plate to protect your oil pan.. __________________ BMWCCA #403399 2012 Mini Cooper S Clubman, 6-Speed Loaded 2001 325xi, Winter Package, 5-Speed Traded 1998 318ti, Active, Automatic, TOTAL LOSS R.I.P. 10/20/08 Bilstein Sport Shocks/Struts . There is a part that protects the radiator/ac compressor that often gets ripped away. __________________ I scream, you scream, we all scream for ZOMBIES. | | | 03-25-2008, 05:04 AM | #5 | Senior Member Join Date: Jan 2005 Location: Fort Collins, CO Posts: 1,305 | yeah, i don't think I've ever seen one | | | 03-25-2008, 05:43 AM | #6 | Member Join Date: Aug 2007 Posts: 44 | Quote: Originally Posted by ATF I don't remember any cover when I did my oil change. I believe my car is missing that because there is no protection down there. Do you guys think i'll be ok without one? | | | 03-25-2008, 04:47 PM | #7 | Senior Member Join Date: Aug 2004 Location: state college, pa Posts: 3,431 | There is no factory skid plate. The euro part is just a cover. __________________ I scream, you scream, we all scream for ZOMBIES. | | | 03-25-2008, 07:30 PM | #8 | Member Join Date: Aug 2007 Posts: 44 | Oh i c..
