Hi, I'm new here and am very interested in a 318ti, so I guess this means I will part ways with my s10. I have liked these cars since I got to know my friend Andy(AlaskaBlue on here), and was kind of interested as to what I need to look for in a used 318ti, what milage to look for, and around what price to pay. I would prefer a 95(obdI rules) sport, 5sp, with the 16" rims. I also would prefer leather over cloth, and I have found one in my relative area(Evansville,IN). I was just wondering about how much a 95 ti, 5sp, leather, sport should cost with around 120k miles on it? Thanks Andrew | | | 10-14-2005, 02:49 AM | #2 | Senior Member Join Date: Dec 2004 Location: Muncie, Indiana Posts: 1,551 | Hey Andrew welcome aboard. I hope you find a 318ti, that way you can understand what good handling is. I say 6,000 is on the high end. I looked up KBB value for my car and it was something like 3,000 dollars, but I have never seen one go for that little. | | | 10-14-2005, 04:19 AM | #3 | aka Stabby Join Date: Nov 2004 Location: Mead, CO Posts: 5,336 | i say just buy AlaskaBlue's for $3000 (KBB value) and let him find another one __________________ 1996 318ti, California package, 267k miles current mods: bilstein sports, bavauto springs, e30 m3 LCABs, solid metal ball joints, bavauto RSMs w/reinforcements, e30 3.73 LSD & halfshafts, supersprint cat-back exhaust, turner rear sway bar reinforcements, IE poly subframe & RTABs + camber/toe kits, powdercoated e36 32x front calipers, sport mirrors, H&R 28mmF/19mmR sway bars, x-brace, auto solutions SSK w/poly bushing upgrade, BMW CD43 head unit, DICE HD Radio w/iPod integration and "stealth" HD antenna, staggered style 68s, orange electronic TPMS, leather arm rest, JT Designs metal undertray acquired and awaiting install: heated seat kit, cali top switch relo, lumbar support kit, park distance control kit, heated washer nozzle kit, m-coupe rear subframe, trailing arms, differential, and halfshafts, m-coupe front/rear brakes with master cylinder, under hood light kit, mud flaps, rear sun blind, auto-dimming rear view mirror, tilt steering wheel retrofit, apexcone 5000K HIDs with 55W ballasts 2002 X5 4.4 Sport Package, 53.5k miles Current Mods: e46 m3 steering wheel | | | 10-14-2005, 05:32 AM | #4 | Senior Member Join Date: Dec 2004 Location: Muncie, Indiana Posts: 1,551 | Haha funny My car is like family now. I guess we'll take the radar detector and make it there in 35 minutes. BTW there is that autobahn road down by Evansville how does that work now? | | | 10-15-2005, 12:35 AM | #8 | Senior Member Join Date: Oct 2005 Location: A few tenths ahead of alaskablue Posts: 265 | Lets see, That works like any other toll road, except we go up to the 2nd floor of my building, get a german kid, explain to him that if we get stopped he is supposed to go off on the cop in german about the autobahn.....Except this road is called the audoban parkway...LMAO...and have him try to get us out of a 140+mph ticket..... I dunno if kentucky will go for that though...so, we shall take the radar detector!!!as well!!! Tell me when u r coming though. Andrew Edit: Plus it takes you a long way out of the way, great if you are going to bowling green though!!! | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
