How come there are so many College Park, MD ti owners. Maybe you guys could meet up when I come down with Rutgers Football and dominate your Turtles .
LOL I'm only teasing.
There are lots of Maryland Ti's---we had a meet not too long ago, and we had MOST of us out there but not everyone...

Let me know when you make your final calls---although I really shouldn't buy a CF hood.

Depends on the box size I suppose but I'm sure I could transport 1 or 2 back to MD at least. Or even parts of VA since I work in Quantico.

Any 3rd person? Wayne, we can get them for $475 each if we get just two. Do you want to do it?

I need another paycheck for that price but I'm game. I'll have it before end of month.. and hey if you can get some headlights added onto my bill.. I'll actually be able to see where I'm driving at night haha (Maybe that's not funny...).

Can't autox this weekend unfortunately, too much band practice for some big(ish) shows coming up. The offer is appreciated though and I'll def. take you up on it eventually.

Alright, I'm just going to go ahead and order 3 hoods and 2 headlights. My parents are loaning me the money, but because I only have one car, I'm keeping one hood. Isis has one car too and is keeping a hood and a headlight.

Who wants the last hood for the low price of $465 (price per hood for 3 hoods)? I'll check out the headlight first and maybe I'll keep it and get rid of my DJ Autos... or let it go on here at a later time. LAST CHANCE to let me know if you want an additional hood beyond the 1 available that I will keep in my basement.

Well to make you guys happy, my dad offered to buy the rest of the hoods (so 5 total) and sell them to me at $465 each. So it's not quite as cheap as if everyone paid me now and I bought them, but the good news is that if you need to wait a month or so, he's happy to hold onto them for a few months assuming people will actually buy them. So... Isis and I are both getting a hood, so there will be 3 hoods left for $465 each. If you want one in the future (no more than a few months from now), you'll still save like $50 off the price of them online and there's no charge for picking them up from me or meeting me somewhere close.

Basically... $465 for a CF hood! I was just sent pictures of the washer jet mounting and how the hood is attached to the OEM hinges.

If your dad really wants to be our hero, he should buy a couple dozen of these and/or become the US distributor for them. heh heh

lol... well the company that's making these only has 5 for the E36 sedan left. They need to make more beyond 5 which takes time and will cost more money for us. So, the next GB, if one happens, will likely be around $20 or so more per hood and would take double the time to deliver. My dad doesn't seem to have an interest in E36 stuff as he has an M Roadster anyway. Plus, he's going to be gone a lot this year building some bridges out of plastic (http://plasticsnews.com/headlines2.html?id=1246896632) for tanks and trains on military bases and he might have to go to Afghanistan to do the same there... so I don't think he will have time anyway. I'll have to come home from school to get these out myself.

Wow, that's some cool stuff. Why isn't he making some E36 hoods out of that plastic? ;-)

Who would want a plastic bridge? Hey, if you can drive a M1 tank across a bridge made of the stuff, I suspect that particular plastic, or something similar could be made into a car hood. :-)

"Fiberglass-impregnated plastic... it's the new carbon fiber!!"
