Default Suspension with swapped motor?

Ok so I havent posted here in a long time and have been busy but now during the winter season when the car is in the garage I will be doing some work.

I will be swapping a s52 motor in the 95 318i.
BUT I need ideas from you guys about the suspension Hence the title.
I have heard of tons and tons of ideas and i dont feel like naming them...

lemme know what you think is best...

the type of driving will be street...no race or track...i mean im sure i will take it to the dyno and a couple run at the 1/4 track just to see...

one question i do have is if I can just use the Bilstein sport mono shock/strut with 318i H&R sport springs with (50k ont them)??? I already have the spring just need an upgrade if possible

thanks for your input

tim

More info should be available, esp in the swap section of this forum. Since you did not go into detail, I won't either. The short answer is no you should not use a spring rated for the 4cyl with a 6cyl engine. You can keep the Ti rear or swap in a Mcoup/ster rearend if you're lucky enough to find one.

I use and suggest a stock M3 front suspension set-up and an M Coupe/Roadster rear set-up.

Balance and handling are superb, and parts are cheap.

This also makes repairs easier down the road...

See "my Garage" for more specific info (I think that's where it is); perhaps in the engine swap section? Somewhere I have all the intimate details of my suspension listed on here...
