For some reason, at first glance, the first pic reminds me of an EK civic hatchie.

funny to say that. I have a championship white EK4 hatchie before this car. I drove hatches all my life from my first car a Honda Crx to an integra to an EF hatch to an Eg hatch to another Crx to an EK4 championship white with type R suspension and finally to my alpine white ti. I had an itch to paint it and it's coming out nicely. Hatches rule. Fun to drive, easy to park, and looks vicious as hell. I couldn't picture myself driving a regular e36, HATCHES ONLY for me. My next car will most likely be another hatch as well, probably a Mercedes C230 Kompressor

I shaved it off. I didn't like the antennae sticking out and I think it looks wayyyyyyy better without it. Reception is still functional and I gain a more sleek look.

Laguna seca blue looks sexy on a ti. I was hoping I could finish it by the socal ti meet, but I don't think i'll finish it by saturday. Im still waiting on my new headlights, AEs, and Apexcone 8000k HIDs. Im also waiting on my m-tech side moldings which come in this monday from a group buy. Laguna Seca Blue FTW!!!

Definately hatchies FTW. I remember my first car was a dodge shadow 2.2 hatchback, was slow but it did what it was supposed to. My buddy picked up a clean red 86 crx si and that thing was a beast compared to my shadow. At that point i knew i was stuck on hathies. He ended up wrecking it right after i found my 87 crx si. Right now its my beater but im going to fix it up a little bit to make it a little more presentable, but the true project is my ti. Right now im prepping it for an m52 but actually have bigger plans for the powerplant and am also contemplating a paint job during the winter after i prep the garage for it. How hard is it to paint a car, ill be attempting it on my crx first because it wouldnt matter too much if it didnt come out perfect, but when i do the ti, it has to be perfect.

This is the first car I've ever attempted to paint. Me and my buddy invested half and half the cost of the equipment like a big enough air compressor and a nice hvlp gun. Just read a whole bunch of painting forums and you'll learn a lot.
