urethane will not provide you with the comfortable ride you're looking for. its much harsher than stock oem rubber and will transmit vibrations into the cabin, and down the road will begin to squeak.

your best bet is to just replace with oem.

what specific bushings are you looking for?

I'm looking for an entire bushing kit for the suspension and chassis, can I just buy an OEM M3 kit and put it on the Ti or which bushings are only interchangable. Whent to the shop and they sell a lot of bushings individualy acording to what you need, I am looking for a whole kit to save all the hassle and money. I need brands to identify by even US market ones, and which are the most popular for our models. Thanks for the help

i've never seen a kit for all the bushings ... that's a lot of bushings!

as autom3otives said, urethane will be harsher. SOME m3 bushings can cross over and be used (LCABs for eg) but not all as the rear suspension is completely different. let me think of what bushings i can off the top of my head:

1) LCABs (lower control arm bushings) - 2
2) rear subframe bushings - 2
3) RTABs (rear trailing arm bushings) - 2 per arm / 4 total
4) differential cover bushing - 1
5) motor mounts - 2
6) trans mounts - 2
7) there's a bushing for the shifter arm - 1
8) RSMs (rear shock mounts) - 2
9) strut mounts - 2
10) rubber bushings for the guide pins in the brake calipers - 2 per caliper

i'm sure there are more that i'm missing

EDIT: i don't really know of any other brands that are rubber like OEM. most aftermarket are urethane or some other material.

more i thought of:
11) sway bar end links (have rubber bushings integral) - 2 front, 2 rear
12) sway bar mount bushings - 2 front, 2 rear
13) if one considers it a bushing, the guibo (between the trans and driveshaft) - 1

Thanks Cali, you all are a lot of help and make people feel welcome. BTW does anybody know of local(Phoenix,AZ) shops or warehouses that might carry some of this stuff in stock or specialise in BMW's?

I use a mix of urethane and OE M bushings.

Subframe and Trailing arm bushings are Ireland Eng.
Lower control arms are 95 M3 OE
RSMs are e46 M3 w/ Z3M reenforcers
TM are UUC Reds w/ Reenforcers
I am going to install Delrin Shifter bushing eventually

I have nearly all the bushings for the ti. My ride doesnt squeak but its so much tighter while turning. It is definately a good investment if your are into handling. see my sig for brands of bushings
