He was put off by how entry level it was. Essentially exactly the same as my e36. There looked to be NO real improvements especially with the interior. The seats looked exactly the same as my seats, and they weren't even electric. I can understand non electric for some models of e36. But common it was 2004 and still didn't come standard on a freakin' BMW!! Even so, i wish he had bought it knowing how good a car they are. And might have eventually bought it off of him..... | | | 12-21-2005, 05:44 AM | #62 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2003 Location: Saint Paul, MN Posts: 3,244 | Going to my dealer makes me feel like I drive the Escort of BMW's. At least I'm used to the abuse now. __________________ My Former Rides 1999 318ti Alpine White, Cali Roof, Dinan goodies 1996 318ti Hellrot California Edition | | | 12-23-2005, 09:52 PM | #63 | Senior Member Join Date: Dec 2005 Location: Portland Oregon Posts: 1,363 | i would think of it has as cheaper then other BMW;s but better then a honda. | | | 12-23-2005, 10:07 PM | #64 | Senior Member Join Date: Oct 2005 Location: Quad Cities, Iowa Posts: 2,110 | A 318ti is still a BMW. People at school still stare when I drive it through the parking lot and call me a rich kid, they wouldnt do that if I drove a new 06' civic. | | | 07-20-2012, 03:08 AM | #65 | Member Join Date: May 2012 Location: Washington Posts: 46 | Quote: Originally Posted by m-technik_ti Just to set your mind at ease, ti's have a relatively bulletproof service history. And I am quoting you because I LOVE your wheels man, what are they? | | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
