I found the 5x120 size at this site. Will the 38mm offset work on the TI?

I think it would be OK for the TI. Recommended BMW AG ET variation is +/- 7, but on practice +/-12 is seems to be OK.

Those are really nice wheels, but I'm pretty sure that the price is for just 1 wheel. Are you ready to spend $2400 on wheels? BTW, yes they'll fit fine.

So yeah. . .if I could get these in 15s. . .I'd swap out my stocks in a heartbeat.
I really like those a lot, but I don't care for the black really. Do they come in regular non-chrome silver?

Sure, for Europe market I've seen that original tires only in silver, even non-chrome. It's one of the typical rims for E46 //M.

As for US - I think too.

Yeah, the ebay store that's selling those has unpainted ones for about $30 less.

Hmm, to be honest I didn't even know what 38mm offset meant, I just copy and pasted the description, but I'm gonna research that and it's good to know that these rims can work on this car without modifications.

Yeah, I don't think I'll ever get these. I bought my car for $7,000 and I only paid off a $100 bucks on it so far. I'm keeping my eye out for the M3 rims from a junk yard or something.

I've pretty much decided on the ASA AR-1's , though it was close between those and the JH8's.. I need to decide if I want to stagger, and go with 17x8 in the front and 17x9 in the back, not sure if the 17x9 would fit though, as it has a 45mm offset, and I think the TI can handle only 30-40 without spacers, which I don't want to deal with.

Also need to decide on tires, so far I think the Kumho ECSTA ASX are probably what I'll go with. Thinking I'll probably stagger those, 225 and 245 unless someone can give me a compelling reason to not do that

That's where I'm planning to get them from

They don't have quite the 5 spoke selection I'd like in 17" unfortunately, but I like the mesh look on TI's
