Are you sure it was that relay making the noise? There are several other relays right there, including the fuel pump relay, that would keep the car from starting. Can you give more detailed symptoms? | | | 10-01-2012, 09:48 PM | #6 | Senior Member Join Date: Nov 2004 Location: Bremerhaven, Germany Posts: 977 | I thought perhaps the crash signal might shutdown the DME (and trip the hazard flasher relay), but I couldn't find anything suggesting that in a quick scan of the E36 ETM. Perhaps you can find something I overlooked. | | | 10-01-2012, 09:49 PM | #7 | Junior Member Join Date: Sep 2012 Location: Franklin, NC Posts: 15 | It was just making an buzzing noise and vibrating pretty bad and when I went to start all I heard was an click and that was it. Didn't dare to roll start, and the battery was brand new in it. | | | 10-01-2012, 09:52 PM | #8 | Junior Member Join Date: Sep 2012 Location: Franklin, NC Posts: 15 | Also I just ordered one, I'll be able to find out when it gets here. | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
