Coils or Struts&Springs? | Bilstein sport shocks & struts/H&R sport or race springs So many kids these days think that coilovers are the only way to lower your car and your car isn't cool unless you scrape everywhere you go. If all you care about is looking cool, why waste money on suspension, just cut your springs and have a spare oil pan and bumper handy. FWIW Struts and springs work just fine for anything you will encounter on the street. I'd take a well known high quality strut/spring setup any day over a no-name cheap Chinese coilover setup. | | | 06-09-2011, 10:58 PM | #209 | Senior Member Join Date: Jul 2009 Location: MD/PA/DC Posts: 1,629 | Quote: Originally Posted by jca Old School is cool. | Yeah, and they look really familiar! __________________ No more ti. | | | 06-10-2011, 09:51 AM | #210 | Senior Member Join Date: Dec 2010 Location: Ottawa, ON Posts: 108 | Quote: Originally Posted by cooljess76 FWIW Struts and springs work just fine for anything you will encounter on the street.
