I highly recommend very light coats. Now, I did not just smoke them, I make them look black in the daytime. The red and amber still showed ok at night. I didn't use enough light coats on the corners, and at night, you could see the inconsistencies... If you do this, take your time and do it right. If you get runs or splotchy spots with VHT, use Goof Off or nail polish remover to clean all the product off and start over. Since the stuff isn't cheap, do it right the first time... One final question... Are you tinting amber corners, clear corners, or your tails? Reason I ask, is that I like the amber color with most BMW blue colors... Then my opinion is no. If you are smoking clears, then yes... __________________ James 95 active w/leather interior and sport interior conversion, Vaders, full M-Tech exterior conversion. I have avus blue and I want to do euro clears in the back and clear side markers but I want to leave the fronts stock. I love the look of the ambers upfront at night, it just screams e36 to me. __________________ | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
