i test drove an imola red M roadster the other day. it was a fun little car, but i still like the E46 M3 better, and will definately like the E92 M3 better. I expected it to be a lot faster than the M3 considering the power to weight ratio, but was disappointed in that category. I could only take it up to about 6,000 rpm due to break-in procedures, but the M3 feels faster in the lower revs, maybe it has something to do with the differential? i dont know. I also saw a Cayman S and got to sit in it, its really nice as well. I do like the lines of the M coupe though. e9X M vs Lotus, the Lotus is the better sports car. cheaper too.
