Ouch, I checked pelicanparts.com and mileoneparts.com and both places want 160 bucks. Hopefully you could find someone parting a motor out or a junkyard that has one. I think member "nyle" is doing a motor swap, hit him up. Otherwise you could try bavarian auto recycling, but I've had issues with them in the past. BTW, the part# for the part you're looking for is: 13-41-1-435-846

Well if they don't have it, they don't have it. It sucks, believe me I know. If it helps, I sold my complete m44 to member "96ti" about 4 months ago. His name is Tu. You could try emailing him, but I don't think he kept anything as he had a shop install the motor. Call Bavarian Auto Recycling tomorrow. They're outta NorCal and might be able to help you out. I wouldn't pay more than 30 bucks for a used one though. IIRC they do give you a warranty on their parts.

get it through bavautorecyclers... it will be the cheapest and have a warranty. Just make sure you email first, then call. I say that because I emailed about a starter (too cheap for new right now) and was told $55 + $33 for shipping, then called to pay and they tried to get $85 + the shipping until I said I was already qouted by this guy and have had alot of problems in the past. But stay on top of them for tracking info, and you should be alright.

For the most part they are alright and make good on there screw ups if it happens... during my swap I got royally screwed around and lied too for over 2 months, but I ended up with the parts, an extended warranty, and a 50% refund. I was PISSED and left horrible feedback for them on Ebay - since then I got a personal email address to a guy higher up in the sales dept who fixed the screw up and he has always given me good deals and makes sure my **** gets shipped since then.

i do not have the extra icv. i ordered an m44 from bavengine.com. It only came with the head and the block.

i thought i remembered one or two members having some spare m44s lying around their garage? can't remember who though.

Default symptoms

well the car can not hold an idle AT ALL. as soon as i hit idle it either dies or starts going from about 200 rpms then jumps to 1000 then 200 then 1000 constantly. other than that the car runs pretty strong when in gear.

another thing, before it would go away when i turned the ac on but after cleaning the icv with brake cleaner then it still did it with the ac on hell of a clean ha ha my icv is held together with jb weld
