I am also leaving again, this time for Iraq, and will put in the Stabil and put on a cover since it is winter. I have had great success with Stabil in everything I have stored. Good luck and keep your powder dry. | | | 12-07-2005, 03:51 AM | #4 | Senior Member Join Date: Sep 2004 Location: New Jersey Posts: 363 | Everything mentioned above... The best thing you could do is have someone you trust start the car every now and then. It was easier for me cause I'm married. If you got a girl or someone you trust just have them do it. Whatever you do, DON'T SIGN A FULL POWER OF ATTORNEY to someone you don't absolutey trust with your LIFE. I know of 7 guys who signed a full POA to their girl and got fuked over big time. Be safe bro!! __________________ | | | 12-07-2005, 04:57 PM | #7 | Junior Member Join Date: Oct 2005 Location: Huntington, WV Posts: 16 | Ditto on the comments about the Power of Attorney. It is very rare that anyone would need one. Just keep USAA insurance and the registration up to date and you should be fine. Your only worry is somebody dogging it on the autobahn... | | | 12-07-2005, 06:28 PM | #8 | Senior Member Join Date: Aug 2003 Location: cary, nc Posts: 2,259 | above^^^ thanks everyone for the contributions you guys have made...good luck everyone __________________ 1995 318ti Active Pioneer Speakers [] Aluminum Billet door locks [] ACS Pedals/Deadrest [] ACS Shift Knob / E-Brake Handle [] Clear Corners/Tails/Sides [] Sylvania Exterior Lighting [] Custom CAI [] Dinan Engine Chip [] Dinan Transmission Chip [] H&R Race Springs [] Tokico Illumina Shocks [] BMW X-Brace [] Relocated Lighter Mod [] Custom iPod Mod http://www.cardomain.com/id/robcarync | | | 12-07-2005, 09:56 PM | #9 | Senior Member Join Date: Jan 2005 Location: Fort Collins, CO Posts: 1,305 | Quote: Originally Posted by buckowens Ditto on the comments about the Power of Attorney. | YES!! watch out with that. Anyways, good luck and watch out for the yellow charms in the MREs | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
