i just took the ashtray unit out and cut some foam to fit the gap. very easy and a simple answer to the problem.

my old ashtray and bits now live in the states with Cali-ti

I'm known to burn one occassionally, but never while driving.

Actually, I haven't in a very long time but I used to a fair amount.

How did you all remove your ashtray and cigarette lighter bin from your car? I found the two screws under the ashtray bin but after unscrewing them i still couldnt lift the whole thing up and out. Could someone let me know.
