or you could say they fell off in the wreck lol.

try and find all your receipts from everything you bought.

and dont let you insurance try and screw you. a drunk persons word is about as good as the birds word thats saw it all happen while it was flying around dropping poop.

you need tio file this claim against his insurance company. you were not at fault! you could have rear ended him and since he was drunk it was his fault! end of story!

your insurance should not be paying a penny for an accident you not at fault in

Dude that dosent look too bad, Might come out with a rebuild title...
Look like Door, fender, shock, molding, control arm, other front end alignment parts. Aslong as the frame is not damaged the car will be fine.
Sorry to say but I dont think you can walk away without it having a total rebuild title.

take more images!

That does look repairable, depending on the damage to the suspension. It might be hard to find a replacement for the door and rear fender, so those might have to be repaired instead. But, it should be easier to find a replacements for all the parts forward of that.

Don't give up on it yet... get some repair estimates or at least a list of everything needed to repair it! This forum has collectively brought at least one car back from the dead already, so hang in there! :-)

Mallard's list, plus maybe a wheel, or repair that one.

Still in the "do-able" range. :-)

a good body shop should be able to get the strut tower back into spec.

Yup, mine's back and running. Either look for that thread or if you just want to see pics, check out my gallery. Mine didn't have any damage to the shock tower, but I did have a bit of frame damage (took 8hrs of labor to fix). If the shock tower isn't repairable, it IS replacable, though that would add significantly to the cost. For the entire inner fender/wheelhouse piece, part alone is around $750, if you just need the shock mount area it's about $350. I imagine the labor to replace that would be a pretty penny though. I'd guess a minimum of 5-6 hours.

Agree with the others though. Put a claim in with his insurance company (he was drunk) and push to get them to pay for it. If they deny the claim, is there any chance you could get a loan to pay for the repairs (if it's not too expensive)? While many of us would like parts, I think we'd rather see your car get back on the road.
