Default Removing a Door Panel

This is fresh in my mind since I just did this again Sunday to install m final Chrome pieces. Here's how to remove a ti door panel. The usual disclaimers apply, as I am in the middle of drinking *a* Molson XXX :-) You'll need a Torx-head screwdriver (T20?) or a set of hex-key like Torx keys (is...

Question worked great on passenger but not on drivers

1995 bmw318ti proud owner...


I followed your instructions to take off the door panel on the passengers side and it worked like a charm...

BUT....When I used the exact same procedure on the drivers door the Torx-head screwdriver (T20?) won't work...Tried every size and can't get those screws out...Any idea what is going on...


Thanks Guys ...Any ideas would be welcome...

Are you sure they a torx and no one replaced them with another type?

Can't really see them and tried various screwdrivers like flat head and star etc, I think that is the problem too, must be non torx screws....so I will just keep trying different screwdrivers...something has got to fit...
