My M Contour II needs a respray due to corrosive brake dust (track pads). Did an experiment today. Frost black with a 4mm thick yellow border:

looks good! great work. Maybe a yellow roundel would set it off? Did you do all of them or just one for now?

I like it. Don't get yellow roundels. CF black and silver roundels is more subtle.

Whatever color you like is cool. Red would look good, too, and be reminiscent of the Tiger Paw red line tires of the 60's muscle car era. For you guys out there with oem steel wheels, they can be easily painted and clear coated oem silver. I did this to my base model, then added BMW oem chrome hubcaps, about $150 for the four. Final step was to use narrow red vinyl trim tape to tape two concentric circles around the outer portion of wheels. The look reminds me of 60's muscle cars in So Cal which ran factory steelies and oem "dog dish" hub caps. Sometimes, less is more. Total cost of the mod: hub caps, paint and clear coat, vinyl tape...less than $200.
