It's a fuel pressure regulator and it says it can be used on the 318ti. What would be the use of this? Would it boost the hp? Forced induction systems for leaning and richening. __________________ 1995 Hellrot Clubsport 318ti -Gone 1996 Schwartz II Sport 357ti - 5.7L V8 LS1/6 1997 Moregrun Metallic 318ti - Gone 1998 Schwartz II sport 318ti - M50TUB25/5 | | | 09-19-2006, 09:19 PM | #4 | doesn't care about you. It would help by allowing you to tune fuel pressure to optimum for your engine. As opposed to taking the stock one with its settings. You wouldn't likely see much more power but it would help for instance on a built motor with new cams that may need tweeking to get the right pressure at a given RPM, sometimes new cams effect manifold vacume in a manner that causes the stock unit to go lean or rich.. It should work with Forced induction but you'd have to check its specs. It needs to adjust from vacume through positive pressure, not all of them do, thats what would make it a true rising rate... __________________ Dave - PDX 1995 318ti - Active Black and Tan. 2005 330xi - Mtech 1 - 6spd - Orient Blue/Black | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
