any strut bar that fits the M44 will fit a 6-cyl. engine

so i have to buy the one that goes across the back side?

what i would like is one that goes straight across from tower to tower. and i dont think they make one for the ti that goes across with out a bend .

i like the bimmerworld one that goes from strut to strut and i dont think it will fit the ti

They bend to the rear because of the intake manifold for the 4 cyl. All strut bars are interchangable between chassis', the engine is the factor in fitting.

you're not going to find one without trying to mod/fab one yourself like blndweasel did here: http://318ti.org/forum/showthread.ph...ut+bar+project

what he did is pretty much exactly what Racing Dynamics offers..

Would the Mason Engineering bar made for the 4-cylinder engine also fit over a 6-cylinder engine?

i think the 4 cyl bars wil fit the 6 but the 6 bars wont fit the 4 cyl bc the 4 cyl the manifold is to high .
