Default hill climb

i have just used the 316 compact in our local hill climb. it is the same car as the 318ti but with a single cam 1800cc engine which i replaced with a 328i engine. it has a LSD and Z4 steering rack but thats about all thats been changed. The tyres are remoulds and don't give much grip and the suspension is soft but it is great fun to drive and cost very little. i have had much faster times than this in other cars but never had as much fun

Rad. Entertaining video, smooth driving.

Great motivation for getting my rig set up.

Well smooth sliding maybe IMO the only time he was interested in was a good time, not thats a bad thing its just spinning tires on pavement will slow you down. Given that setup I can't say I wouldn't do the same thing...at least for the first few runs until I got used to the course.

i didn't want to take it too seriously, i was competing against 3 subaru impreza turbos and a z3m in my class so didn't rate my chances of swapping times with them. i had some good tyres i could have used but wanted to have a bit of fun so didn't put them on. smiling all the way up the hill and surprised to find i still managed second fastest time in the class. (one of the imprezas beat me)
