Default Installed my front lip today...

So as the title says, I installed my front lip today. I got if off a guy on bimmerforums for $30, which isnt bad at all. Picked it up this morning, got home and started to sand it down. Took forever to find sand paper and i dont know what grit it was :-/ ... but it was fine paper anyhow.
so took me an hour to sand it down smoothly (given it was painted and had a few scratches here and there). I taped it on my front bumper, a M-tech one, so i can drill the holes accordingly. after that, it just so happen that my uncle came by and saw what i was doing and he saw the spray paint i had and said to use the one he gave me.

said it would match the color of the trim. so i used it and it came out just perfect, well to me it did.
all in all here are some pics to describe my progress. let me know what you guys think...

tthose are the holes i drilled when i had the lip taped on the bumper to get the spacing right.

had to remove that and move it out of the way to get under the bumper to put in the nuts, washers, and bolts.

PLEASE get new rims... chrome does NOT belong on BMW's, unless you're going for the whole "ghetto, pimp, bling-bling" look. Chrome is ugly, reduces horsepower and makes the driver impotent and sterile. heh heh Nah, seriously though... I just wanted to be the first to tease you about the rims since folks harrassed me about the same thing. :-D

Too bad you missed those Style 42's that were for sale a couple of days ago.

well they are actually stock wheels. but i think they look okay, although im not a big fan of chrome wheels, just dont have the money to buy the rims i want, ya know? so im trying to get some rims at the moment. hopefully it falls thru. might get them painted/powdered gray or gun or the bmw color. we'll see....
(but whats wrong having a beaner with chrome rims? lol, jk... i know what you mean)

haha. yeah. i know what u mean bro. however i already have the m-tech suspension. good handling and low. this setup on my ti is the lowest car i've had. i like it, just dont want to get into problems about speed bumps. i might consider lowering it on H&Rs later. but its not my main concern at the moment. i just want nice wheels first.
