Limped it quick to the nearest parking lot (Washington County Fair Ground) and it is now sitting there. The girlfriend came and took me to work. I believe either the strut blew out or somehow the rod snapped. The lower suspension looked fine from what I could see through my foglight hole. Edit: Coils are less than a year old so I should get a replacement no problem. __________________ 95 318ti & 96 318ti Quote: Originally Posted by eurohb Im Jelly.. enough said. | Follow me on instagram: earlmeyeriii | | | 10-08-2012, 11:50 AM | #48 | Senior Member Join Date: Mar 2012 Location: West Bend, Wisconsin Posts: 1,055 | Strut somehow came unbolted from the strut mount and poped out=/ If anyone has a set of E36 front coils laying around let me know. So, I figured just finding coils would be better. Thank you very much for the offer=) __________________ 95 318ti & 96 318ti Quote: Originally Posted by eurohb Im Jelly.. enough said. | Follow me on instagram: earlmeyeriii | | | 10-08-2012, 06:25 PM | #55 | Senior Member Join Date: Jul 2011 Location: SoFla Posts: 482 | Quote: Originally Posted by Earl I was going to put in a set of stock struts from my buddy but I figured I would have to take them out again anyways to put coils (or bags o_0) in again anyways. IDK what it is about it but it looks better to me. I take that as a huge compliment from someone who doesn't like the style. Thank you a ton=~) __________________ 95 318ti & 96 318ti Quote: Originally Posted by eurohb Im Jelly.. enough said. | Follow me on instagram: earlmeyeriii | | | 10-08-2012, 08:19 PM | #59 | NOBODY F's with the Jesus Join Date: Oct 2006 Location: Ventura California Posts: 7,824 | Bummer dude. Glad you didn't get hurt or kill anyone. I understand the whole slammed/stance scene and I can appreciate the look. However I don't understand why people would compromise safety/handling with cheap Chinese suspension parts. Either spend the money and do it right or find another hobby. This time the car survived and nobody got hurt, next time might not be so lucky | | | 10-09-2012, 02:23 PM | #60 | Senior Member Join Date: Mar 2012 Location: West Bend, Wisconsin Posts: 1,055 | Jaze on Stanceworks just saved the day. Hoping the coils come quick so I can get this booger back on the road=) __________________ 95 318ti & 96 318ti Quote: Originally Posted by eurohb Im Jelly.. enough said. | Follow me on instagram: earlmeyeriii | | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
