HPS is different from HP+. The second being a higher temp compound that isn't very grippy when cold.
my mistake then. after phil's post, i may change the pad type when i do the vented conversion (leave me alone. it's cold out and i have a lot of work to do)

Default 165,000 miles of experience

I drive about 65 miles each way to work and back on the Ohio turnpike and I've found that if you run the stock Pagid pads, the rotors will warp right away (even if there brand new) when stopping quickly from high (70-90 mph) speeds. The best combo I've found is Bavarian Autosport cross drilled rotors all around and EBC "Red Stuff" pads in front and EBC "Green Stuff" pads in the rear. The reason for running the "greens" in the rear is that the rear brakes will never get hot enough to actually bring the "Red Stuff" pads up to proper temperature (been there). I run Autocross and track days with these pads & rotors and I've NEVER had another warped rotor since. Let me know if you have any questions.
