Hey guys,
Just wanted to see what you guys are using to download music these days. I'm sure we're all downloading here and there, and I've been looking for a better site to download from.

You can go into specific genre "chat rooms"
right click their name and select View Files.
and you can see all the music they have that they've decided to share.
Plus you can search a specific song within the room you're in.
Or you can do it the old fashion way and use the top search button
The only problem with that is that its not like limewire where you dl from multiple ppl

I used to use Limewire, I kept getting songs that were copied from scratched CDs and several times I got some weak viruses that Norton caught

Copy the YouTube url of a song you like, go to listentoyoutube.com paste the url and it will give you a downloadable mp3 file.
If you use firebox as a browser on your pc. There is an add on that adds a "download" button with a drop down box for different versions right now to the fb share and Google +1 buttons.
Or you can use torrent sites to download entire albums from websites like kat.ph or thepiratebay.se with a torrent application (like the free one from utorrent.com)

As for downloading try out grooveshark.com, last time i checked it was free As dan said before you can type in "youtube to mp3" or "soundcloud to mp3" in your search bar and you can easily copy the address link and it will convert the audio into a downloadable mp3 for you. __________________
