it doesn't work, you'd be lucky if it didn't hurt performance with all the restriction it creates

They used to call those a Vortex with the same claim. They do not work and only cause a slight air restriction in the intake piping to your TB. Looks cool and that's what sells them but no power gains. Sorry

The only cheep HP is Nitrous and it needs to be used properly or boom. A lot of people call it cheating but hey if I have it I run it.

My error. I do not know if there is any gas saving on spining the air before the TB since the TB butterflys would straighten it out as the ait went through. The real gas milage savings in the in head and valve work.

I have no reports on mileage gains or personal experience with this add-on only my theroy and knowledge of how a motor works. HP and volumetric efficiency both improve with air flow increase not by restricting it. Only my 2 cents. Sorry I can't help more. I do know a K&N does offer better mileage and that's is a fact, it's not much but there is some to be had with a better flowing air filter. Fogging your stock air box can help too.

I got a bridge for sale, if you'd like? Prime location too - right between Manhattan & Brooklyn! Willing to give it away for real cheap, if you re interested!

Jk But seriously... NO! It Does NOT Work! LOL

Don't gun the car, keep an eye on your tire pressure / change spark plugs / motor oil (diff & tranny too) / air filter regularly (throw in some Chevron Techron once in a while) & you should be fine with gas millage.
Its not what you drive - but how you drive it... IMO (& Jeremy Clarkson's LOL)

I get about 300-320 miles to the tank with spirited driving on 42lbs. injectors - but when I simmer it down and chill out & can hit up to 400miles on a tank!

I'd go over the whole vacuum system, make sure the thing is properly tuned. Mine gets 24 consistently around town....

Vac leaks can kill your mileage on these motors...

youre slamming on the gas to speed up to the next red light? MPG has a LOT to do with driving habbits. I'm not saying that you should slowly accelerate, because that's a pain too. But sudden accel is terrible on MPG. Also, do you frequent drive thru windows? Turn off your engine. Stop and go rush hour? If so.. are you involved in the "slinkie" movement of the rush hour? (do you speed up when you see that you will be stopping soon, or do you allow space between the car in front of you when he is rapidly accelerating so you can have a slow, but consistant speed?)

Agreed that driving habits help a lot. I was able to get over 40 mpg in my last ti with very low-demand driving on highways. Do you have a manual or auto?

Sounds about right. I get around 13-18mpg in town. But I noticed that if I cruise at 75, my mpg shoots up to 25-30. Wheels also play a big part. When I switch to steelies, I can get usually 35mpg on highway. I drive a auto, which supposedly gets better city mpg than the manual cause of our bigger ratios.
